MANUEL SCHEUERNSTUHL.

Manuel, originally from Munich, has worked as a German voice actor for international productions such as Game of Thrones. He moved to New York to pursue journalism and now reports on politics, economics and culture.

In 2022, Manuel graduated in Media Economics from Stuttgart Media University and studied at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University as a scholarship recipient of the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft. In 2025, he completed his Master of Science in Journalism at Columbia University as a Fulbright Scholar and John Chancellor Scholar for Excellence in Journalism. Manuel works as a reporter and video journalist for international media outlets such as the BBC, ARD and DW. With a digital-first approach, he has reported from the United Nations, covered presidential inaugurations in Washington, D.C. and delved into cultural and socioeconomic issues that shape society. He has posed questions to figures such as Katarina Barley, Manfred Weber and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, engaging with leaders across Europe and the United States.

Manuel launched his project Steps with Manu in 2023 – a Gen-Z-focused multimedia podcast featuring in-depth conversations with politicians, journalists, and artists. The show booked 15 high-profile guests and generated thousands of views across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. It earned 127 five-star reviews on Spotify and reached hundreds of thousands of users across social platforms.
